We use your information to deliver our Course Development Services — including course curriculum design, lesson planning, educational content writing, interactive learning materials, quiz & assignment creation, certification programs, and LMS course setup. We also use it to communicate project updates, send invoices, and improve our services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, cloud storage) strictly necessary to deliver our services, under confidentiality agreements.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. Project files and course materials are retained for 12 months after project completion unless otherwise agreed.

Terms of Service

Effective date: January 1, 2025. These Terms of Service govern your use of KnowledgeBuild's course development services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Services Provided

KnowledgeBuild provides professional Course Development Services, including: course curriculum design, lesson planning, educational content writing, interactive learning materials, quiz & assignment creation, certification program development, and LMS course setup. The specific scope of work is defined in each individual project agreement or proposal.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, source materials, brand guidelines, and timely feedback required for project completion. Delays caused by the client may affect delivery timelines and are not the responsibility of KnowledgeBuild.

Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client receives full ownership of the final deliverables. KnowledgeBuild retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. All proprietary methodologies, frameworks, and templates developed by KnowledgeBuild remain our intellectual property.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules are outlined in individual project proposals. Typically, a deposit of 50% is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month.

Revisions

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the course of the project. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement.

Limitation of Liability

KnowledgeBuild's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jasper County, Missouri.

KnowledgeBuild

Refund Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025. At KnowledgeBuild, we are committed to delivering high-quality course development services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

Deposits

Project deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. The deposit covers initial research, planning, curriculum scoping, and resource allocation dedicated to your project.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a project is cancelled before any work has started (within 48 hours of deposit payment), a full refund of the deposit will be issued. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@knowledge-build.com.

Cancellation During Active Projects

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the client will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date at our standard hourly rate. Any amount paid in excess of the work completed will be refunded within 14 business days.

Deliverable Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with a deliverable, we encourage you to first request revisions within the agreed revision scope. If the deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed specifications after revisions, we will work with you in good faith to find a resolution, which may include partial credit toward future services.

Digital Products & Course Materials

Completed and delivered course materials, including curriculum documents, lesson plans, educational content, quizzes, assignments, and LMS-uploaded courses, are non-refundable once accepted by the client.

Processing Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 10–14 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

To initiate a refund request, please contact us with your project details, the reason for your request, and any supporting documentation.
